Investigating Reporting from URI

--- On Friday, March 21st, I will give you a formalized assignment sheet. For the time being, you are working on a project for which, in a group, you will investigate an issue on campus, and you will deliver a report highlighting the findings from what you have discovered.
--- Rather than an essay, your final product, or “deliverable,” will be a combination of both visual representation, plus a brief written component.

Visual Representation options are:
  • PowerPoint Presentation or “Prezi” Presentation
  • Website (Wordpress, Blogger, Wikispace)
  • Short video
  • Graphic text (online or on paper)
  • Other graphic/web-forms of delivering visual imagery – I’m open to other ideas.

--- You will be evaluated by me, your group members and your peers at various points throughout this project. While this is an opportunity for you to voice your opinions, you cannot just sit back and vent; you are responsible for conducting a successful group project.

--- All groups will submit a written "rhetorical perspective" piece of the report - one per group.
--- Everyone will submit a final reflection - written individually by all of you.

DATES TO REMEMBER
1. Workshop: Monday, March 31st – you will give a brief presentation about your project and progress thus far and solicit feedback from your peers (this may be formal or informal, I haven’t decided yet)
2. Product due: Friday, April 4th – in class, you will all show/reveal your final product to your peers
